If you're here to see Canberra, this hotel is a great place to stay as it is walking distance to the City Center Bus Terminal which can take you to any part of Canberra. It is also the start point of the Canberra bus tour as well as tourist buses to Sydney and other locations.

There are some nice scenic places in the mountains around Canberra as long as you have a car to get to them. The city botanical garden was pretty nice and was free.
