Stayed at Las Adelfas - Cordoba & Province, Spain.

The main objective for visiting Cordoba is the Mezquita, which is breath-taking and highly recommendable.
Of other nice memories are the flamenco show (just opposite the Mezquita in Calle de Torrijos) and the splendid restaurant Maestro in Romero: nice atmosphere, excellent service, delicious courses, - but especially remembered are the fantastic home made desserts.
We were recommended to take the bus from hotel Las Adelfas to town, but it was actually possible to go by car and park just outside the boundaries of the old town and then walk for the rest.

Bilbao is worth a visit! We took the metro from Santutxu to the end station on line C, "Plentzia", which turned out to be a beautiful village on the sea. The metro line goes only partly underground, so it was great to see the beautiful houses and gardens under the journey. Coming back we went out at "Casco Viejo" and came to the beautiful Plaza de Unamuno in the very center of the old city. Of course, the most important thing to visit in Bilbao is Guggenheim, but don't forget the small villages outside the city center!

Besides the normal tourist stops, catch the funicular all the way to the top of Barcelona where there is an amazing view and a small amusement park.

Bilbao is a very interesting and beautiful city. It blends the old with the contemporary. I was very surprised with my experiences. I only wish I had arranged for a longer stay. The riverfront development, the Guggenheim and their concert hall are great designs. Also, the bridges over the river along the waterfront were exceptional.

I traveled to Rondo, Cordoba from this place. It takes about an hour by train to Cordoba and 3 hours by bus to Rondo. Bus station is easily reached by taxi for 5-6 Euros. For city transportation I used a bus ticket, which is valid for 10 rides and allows one transfer for each ride. Bus is quite crowded but frequent.

Stayed at Castilla Alicante, Hotel - Alicante, Spain.

We travelled in May and there were not very many people on our beach - San Juan, it seemed very empty and desolate whereas the beach nearest Alicante (Playa del Postiguet) looked much cosier with more activity and life but wasn't overcrowded just very pleasant and very central to the town. There were beautiful walks and scenery was excellent, great views from the Castilla Santa Barbara definitely worth a visit.

Barcelona is a fantastic destination. There is so much to see and do - many museums, monuments, very nice parks, good restaurants. The train and bus systems are excellent - very easy to understand. The Gaudi structures are amazing - don't miss the Gaudi temple.
