Guest commentsWe were party of 4 mature travellers and this hotel suited our requirements. Having read about dragging cases and having to travel by water bus this hotel was in the ideal location next to the bus/train station and next to a water bus stop. We travelled to Murano, St Marks Square and various points down the Grand Canal on it. Our room was adequate, no tea making facilities, which we like, but a mini bar. On a plus side it is good to have a lounge area that you can chill out in after a busy day site seeing. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. Most people seemed to come down to breakfast at 9 am so dining room was a bit crowded, if you are there in the summer months there is a garden that you can sit in and eat breakfast. Only downside was church bells that were rung around 7 - 8 am in the morning, my husband counted them - more than a hundred dongs, but by that time you are ususally getting up to explore this wonderful city. Definitely stay there again.

Guest commentsOne of the best hotels I've ever been to considering relative value in Venice. The staff was literally the best I've had around the world. Location is great and you would never know how close you are to the train station and a short walk to where you can catch the bus or cab. I felt so sorry for everyone lugging their bags through the streets (i.e. those staying closer to san marco). I couldn't recommend a better overall hotel and experience and I've traveled everywhere. Breakfast was amazing and their garden is so relaxing and beautiful. If I could make one complaint, it was that the air conditioning wouldn't go lower than 27, but hey, I'm American and used to wasting energy and so long as it wasn't a terribly hot day, 27C is quite comfortable and we could live with it just fine. I recommend this hotel to all travelers and it is the only place I'll stay when in Venice.

Guest commentsWe enjoyed our stay here, and found the location by the train station convenient. The hotel desk staff are very friendly, have great suggestions, and all speak very good english. There are bells that ring each morning at 7, but we were happy to get up and start our day!

Guest commentsDelightfull Hotel with friendly staff. Great location near the Rail Station. Room was compact but with a nice outlook over the garden. Best "small" Hotel we stayed in on the whoe trip.

Guest commentsExcellent friendly service, our room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a very convenient location when arriving by car or train, we walked from the main car park and it took under 10 minutes. It's also pretty much next door to the vaporetto stop, which takes you right into the centre. The only downside is that it's also right next door (literally) to a church with VERY loud bells that ring at 7am in the morning, so if you're planning an early start then that's fine, but if you're planning a lie-in, go somewhere else (we got woken up by the bells even though we were using earplugs).
